The 15th International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Utilization (ICCDU XV) will be held in Shanghai, China at the 17th-21st, July 2017. Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences (SARI-CAS) and ShanghaiTech University (ShanghaiTech) will co-host the event, the local organization committee will work together with the conference International Scientific Committee (ISC) to make the conference a great opportunity and platform for all the colleagues to exchange ideas, communicate thoughts, and establish collaborations.

According to the recent trend in carbon dioxide reduction technologies and related topics, ICCDU XV will include 5 topics: CO2 as a green feedstock via reduction (CO2 reduction to fuel and chemicals/materials by thermal, photo/electro-chemical and biological routes), CO2 as a building block via functionalization (CO2 to Chemicals, materials and polymers by homo-/hetero-geneous catalysis or biotech), CO2 Capture and mineralization (CO2 separation by absorption, adsorption, membrane and its sequestration by storage or mineralization), CO2 as a working agent (Using CO2 in liquid/supercritical state, CO2 as a working fluids), Carbon budget, policy and strategies (Carbon budget, trading, life cycle assessment and policy/strategies related aspects).
